Subway & Jared
You've seen these Subway commercials showing the infamous Jared losing a bunch of weight by only eating subs, well they suckered me in. I stopped by Subway and purchased one of their 6 inch subs that is supposed to only have 6 grams of fat and realized how Jared lost weight. They don't put any freaking meat on the sandwich. They pack the sub full of lettuce but when you ask for pickles they count how many they put on your sandwich. I'm serious they count out the pickles and things like that but they'll pile you up some lettuce. Then they'll put you a couple of pieces of thinly sliced meat load it with sauce so it has a little bit of taste, and then charge you full price . Of course it only has 6 grams of fat it's just lettuce. I gotta find a new sub place, any suggestions?

2009 Metamorphosis Golf Tournament
Mark down April 25th on your calendars, why? Because I said so. Seriously that's the date of the 2009 Metamorphosis Golf Tournament. This tournament is big for the church for two reasons 1) It allows Pastor Chad to present the vision of the church to a group of people who possibly have never attended the church and 2) because it's a big fundraiser for us.
Some of you may be thinking to yourself that since you don't play golf you can't help, but that's not true. We need volunteers to take pictures, prepare food, pass out prizes, and much more. So if you don't play golf but would like to volunteer please see me as soon as you can.
Another area where everyone can get involved is selling sponsorships. Sponsorships is a way we raise a large portion of our goal for each tournament. If you have contacts at local businesses or know families that would like to be a sponsor, it would be a huge help.
Lastly if you do play golf make sure you get your golfing buddies together and sign up to play in the tournament. Every tournament is a blast and you will not want to miss it. It's a great time of fellowship and a great way to raise money for the church.
